Vice President - Independent Agency – Pharma / Biotech PR – 150k – East Coast
The Company
We are currently supporting an exciting award-winning mid-sized Independent healthcare PR agency on the search for a Vice President.
This is an amazing opportunity for an established to step up Account Director or a current VP to move to an agency which truly values its staff with strong personal investment & work-life balance.
The Role
In this Healthcare VP role you will be developing and maintaining client relationships within Pharma & Biotech. You will be strategizing and implementing programs such as media strategies and relations, digital and social media, data/regs, strategy etc.
- Manage up to 3 client accounts across Pharma & Biotech clients.
- Focused on Oncology & Ophthalmology therapy areas
- Working closely and reporting to the Executive Vice President
- Attending 2 days a week in their offices across Boston, New York, Washington DC or Philadelphia
You
- At least 6 years of experience in a similar role – specifically within healthcare, pharma or biotech communications.
- Degree qualified
- Experience implementing account strategy - PR
- Media Relations, Content Creation, Data/Regs experience
- Ability to be hands-on when needed
- Proven ability to lead, and create strong high-level professional relationships
- Excellent communication skills, analytical thinker with a passion for excellence
