Vice President, Account Director – Small PR Agency (Biotech/ Healthcare)– Remote (USA)

The Role
In this VP of Accounts role you will be developing and maintaining client relationships, strategizing and implementing programs such as corporate messaging and positioning, media strategies and relations, digital and social media, investor communications, internal communications, scientific communications, website development, and patient engagement.
- Responsible for up to 3 direct reports
- Manage up to 6 client accounts simultaneously
- Involvement of new business pitches
- Working closely and reporting to the Executive Managing Director
- Remote (with travel 4x a year to the office) or hybrid in the Boston office
You
- At least 10 years of experience in a similar role – specifically within healthcare, pharma or biotechnology. Working in a smaller-sized agency/ company is a plus
- Degree qualified
- Experience implementing account strategy - PR
- Digital, social media and website expertise
- Must be able to travel 4x a year for company meet-ups, and when necessary, i.e. for client meetings
- Ability to be hands-on when needed
- Proven ability to lead, and create strong high-level professional relationships
- Excellent communication skills, analytical thinker with a passion for excellence
- Investor relations/ investor and financial communications experience
