Stoma Care Nurse – Leicester – Stoma Care Medical Devices – Salary D.o.E

The Company

Carrot is partnering with a national leader in the introduction of innovative and high-quality health care products and medical devices to health care professionals, industry, and pharmacy supply chain partners across the UK.

They are on the lookout for a Stoma Care Nurse to add to their team based in Leicester, this is a full-time position working Monday – Friday.

The Role

• Design and implement individualized care plans for patients with stomas or fistulas, assessing and evaluating their effectiveness.
• Support patients as their advocate by offering guidance to help them make informed treatment decisions.
• Collaborate with hospital teams and community services to ensure a smooth transition between hospital and home care.
• Serve as a specialist resource for nursing staff, providing training and support on stoma and colorectal care.
• Develop and conduct educational programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills.

You

• Registered General Nurse with valid NMC pin.
• Colorectal or Stoma experience or specialist knowledge essential.
• Motivated and forward-thinking individual with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritise care and use initiative within a team and as an individual, seeking support as required.
• Evidence of self-development and service improvement and a desire to continue this.
