Senior Medical Writer (Oncology) - Medical Communication Agency - New Jersey

The Role

• Develop and deliver scientifically accurate content

• Follow budgets, timeframes, and other requirements from clients

• Adapt content and writing style to the client goals, therapy areas, and target audiences

• Liaise with HCPs, KOLs and other medical experts

• Staying up to date with therapy areas, publication practises, guidelines and other processes

• Mentor junior writers

• Edit, review and proofreading other writers’ work

• Focus on publications and med affairs work (slides, Q&A, standard response documents)

• Oncology focused specifically within safety, dosing, administration across tumor types.

You

• Life sciences degree, preferably combined with Masters and or PhD

• 3-4 years of medical writing experience in the medical communication and/or pharmaceutical sector

• Ideally, publications experience

• Preferably experience in attending and supporting clients in congresses, symposia, and advisory boards.

• Editing, reviewing and proofreading experience

• Good time management skills

• Able to work as part of a team
