Senior Medical Writer (Oncology) - Medical Communication Agency - New Jersey

The Role
-
Develop and deliver scientifically accurate content
-
Follow budgets, timeframes, and other requirements from clients
-
Adapt content and writing style to the client goals, therapy areas, and target audiences
-
Liaise with HCPs, KOLs and other medical experts
-
Staying up to date with therapy areas, publication practises, guidelines and other processes
-
Mentor junior writers
-
Edit, review and proofreading other writers’ work
-
Focus on publications and med affairs work (slides, Q&A, standard response documents)
-
Oncology focused specifically within safety, dosing, administration across tumor types.
You
-
Life sciences degree, preferably combined with Masters and or PhD
-
3-4 years of medical writing experience in the medical communication and/or pharmaceutical sector
-
Ideally, publications experience
-
Preferably experience in attending and supporting clients in congresses, symposia, and advisory boards.

Editing, reviewing and proofreading experience
-
Good time management skills
-
Able to work as part of a team
