Scientific Advisor – Hertfordshire, Hybrid –Up to £45,000 D.o.E + Bonus + Benefits Package
The Company
Carrot Recruitment are supporting a leading pharmaceutical company in their search for a Scientific Advisor. Working in a well-established business in a niche area of the life sciences sector, this opportunity is the perfect platform to work in a role which among other duties incorporates key stakeholder engagement, scientific content creation and review in a fast pace collaborative environment.
This is a hybrid position, and the candidate must be able to attend the office 3 days per week (Tues – Thurs) working from home on the 2 remaining days.
The Role
- Support healthcare professionals (HCPs) in utilizing products for optimal patient outcomes.
- Lead compliance with ethical standards and governance to a high standard across all business areas.
- Provide therapy insights to drive strategic business growth.
- Plan and Execute the medical strategy effectively.
- Develop medical resources and activities delivering training as required
- Support research programs and lifecycle management to identify unmet needs and build evidence for therapeutic indications.
You
- Relevant Scientific Degree in a Life Science area
- Experience of working in pharma/med device/medical communication setting
- Awareness of pharmaceutical and medical device regulations and codes of practice
- Proven experience of creating scientific content inclusive of medical education
- Exceptional communication and analytical skills, ability to prioritise and demonstrate effective project management skills
- Able to travel within the UK and Internationally for conferences and events
