Sales Consultant – Pharma & Biotech Business Intelligence Consultancy - London - £35,000 to £45,000

We’re working with a highly reputable BI agency who are a leading source for breaking news, expert insights, and in-depth analysis tailored for the pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare industries. They’re all about keeping industry professionals ahead of the curve with updates on the latest drug developments, regulatory shifts, market trends, and competitive moves that matter most.
The Role
Sales Responsibilities: Drive subscription and report sales by managing the sales process, building strong client relationships, and ensuring high rates of renewal through proactive account management.
Developing New Business: Target and secure new opportunities with untapped accounts, convert awareness into premium subscriptions, and build partnerships with companies of all sizes across the pharmaceutical, medical technology, and healthcare sectors.
Managing your own desk: Identify and reach out to new prospects, follow up on inbound leads promptly and professionally, and turn opportunities into long-term clients.
Customer Insight & Industry Awareness: Gather and assess client feedback to identify unmet needs, stay informed on industry developments, and contribute to a consultative sales approach that adds value to both clients and the sales team.
You
Successful candidates will have 2 -3 years’ experience as a Sales Development Representative and must be able to demonstrate the following qualities.
- Proven success within a subscription-based sales environment, with the ability to maintain long standing relationships with clients.
- Experienced in business development and can comfortably generate new business through cold calling and emailing, with the ability to develop an excellent sales pitch.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently present in client demonstrations.
- Ability to work independently without supervision and be self-motivated to exceed goals and targets.
- Experience in selling pharma and biotech products is preferred but not essential.
