Principal Medical Writer, Medical Education – Central London

The Role
Principal Medical Writer to write a range of project materials including slide decks and advisory board reports.
- Propose and define the scope of new projects
- Review and sign off project materials
- Identify and directly collaborate with KOLs
- Manage and direct a team of AMWs, MWs and SMWs
- Work with the Scientific Services Director to plan and forecast work
- Identify new business opportunities and participate in presentations to clients
You
- Good degree in life sciences and training in the ABPI code of practice
- Editorial experience in a medical education setting including both traditional and multimedia (video/audio/web interactive) projects.
- Experience of conference programme development
- Desktop publishing skills (InDesign, Acrobat, Illustrator, and print production skills
- Knowledge of the main principles of pharmacology, evidence-based medicine and drug regulation and governance (e.g. types of clinical trials, role of bodies such as NICE)
