Principal Medical Writer, Medical Education and Communications, Global Healthcare Communications Network – offices in central London or Manchester with hybrid arrangements 2-3 days a week.

The Company 

  • Global Healthcare Communications Leader: Provide integrated solutions across medical education, brand promotion, digital and social media, public relations, and creative design for major pharmaceutical clients. 
  • Expertise in Medical Education: Combines biomedical science, learning theory, and behaviour change to deliver impactful medical and professional education programs tailored to client needs. 
  • Strategic and Integrated Approach: Focuses on creating cohesive communication strategies that align with client objectives, leveraging cross-disciplinary expertise for maximum impact. 
  • Client-Centric Solutions: Partners with some of the biggest names in the pharmaceutical industry to deliver innovative and high-quality communication materials that drive business growth and improve patient outcomes. 

 

The Role 

  • Content Development: Lead the creation and delivery of high-quality medical education and communication materials, ensuring scientific accuracy and clarity. 
  • Client and Expert Engagement: Manage relationships with clients and external experts, contributing to discussions, strategy, and account planning. 
  • Strategic Contribution: Develop scientific strategies to inform tactical plans, identify growth opportunities, and support new business proposals and pitches. 
  • Team Leadership: Mentor, coach, and manage junior writers while reviewing their work to maintain quality standards. 
  • Collaboration and Culture: Participate in internal initiatives like diversity groups or cultural teams while benefiting from a collaborative hybrid work model. 

 

You 

  • Medical Education and Communication Expertise: Extensive experience in creating diverse medical education materials, including strategic projects like scientific narratives and platforms. 
  • Strategic Leadership and Client Engagement: Proven ability to lead innovative projects, foster strategic client partnerships, and contribute to organic business growth. 
  • Creative Problem-Solving: Demonstrated capability to devise innovative solutions by leveraging past experiences to address client challenges effectively. 
  • Quality and Efficiency Focus: Strong commitment to maintaining high standards across deliverables, proactively improving processes, and ensuring resource efficiency for optimal value.
