You
- You are a SAM or AD within PR in a regulated field, such as biotech, health tech, pharma, health, tech, or are an communications manager/director with strong media experience.
- This role has a strong media element – you will have experience in pitching and strong journalistic contacts.
- You’ll have experience of pitching in different markets – UK, EU are their primary functions, but they are always happy to bring in new skill sets.
- You are adaptable and great at bringing forward new ideas and creativity in everything you do
What you’ll be doing
- Lead client accounts, taking full responsibility for client deliverables and ensuring high-quality service and successful PR campaigns.
- Create and implement strategic PR and media campaigns for life sciences clients to achieve prominent coverage in both national and industry-specific publications.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with influential media contacts within the life sciences field.
- Partner with senior leadership to devise PR strategies that align with clients' business goals.
- Write engaging press releases, media pitches, and other PR content, including longform blogs and thought leadership articles.
- Track and evaluate media coverage, providing clients with regular reports and actionable insights.
- Conduct media outreach and secure placements across diverse channels such as print, digital, and broadcast.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and competitors' activities in the life sciences sector.
- Assist with business development by contributing to proposals and presentations for new business opportunities.
- Help develop and refine internal processes and PR best practices.
- Work with the marketing and events teams to enhance PR opportunities.
