Occupational Health Nurse – Wrexham – Mid Sized BioPharma – 6-month Contract
The Company
Carrot is partnering with a Global biopharmaceutical company focused on developing, manufacturing, and commercialising innovative medicines that address unmet medical needs in speciality care and consumer healthcare.
The Role
- Deliver OH services, including sickness and case management.
- Conduct workplace health assessments (e.g., audiometry, spirometry, FLT medicals).
- Develop health and well-being strategies.
- Support Mental Health First Aiders and conduct mental health risk assessments.
- Maintain and manage employee health records and OH policies.
You
Essential:
- Registered Nurse (NMC), with adult nursing qualification.
- Training in audiometry, spirometry, immunisations, and anaphylaxis.
- Fluent in written/spoken English.
- Proficient in MS Office and OH software.
Desirable:
- SCPHN qualification in Occupational Health.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in occupational health post-diploma.
- Strong communication, diary management, and stress/anxiety management skills.
