Metrology Engineering Scientist – Southwest UK – Global Medical Device Company – Upto £45k Salary D.o.E +

The Company

• We are partnered with a worldwide, medical device company who although large, keep a small family-oriented culture and feel. They are an industry leader in their niche area and are growing year upon year.

The Role

• 5 Hours a week – Hybrid role and flexible working hours.
• Execute trials and convey results appropriately – e.g. engineering reports and presentations.
• Participation and collaboration with completing manufacturing led projects, transferring metrology equipment and methods from research into manufacturing.
• Work successfully within a team to assist the development of timelines for delivery.
• Collaborate in problem solving activities and investigations.

You

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) – Physics or related field.
• Understanding of principles behind metrology systems.
• Understanding of ISO standards.
• Six Sigma Techniques.
• Ideal but not essential – some knowledge of medical device or pharmaceuticals.
