Medical Writer – Independent Multi award-winning Medical Communications Agency – Cheshire/Hybrid/Remote - £30K - £40K plus great benefits and flexible working.

The Role

  • Scientific content development, demonstrating information management, internal review, quality and data checking.
  • Developing top-quality content across several projects according to the brief (style, grammar, formatting, client specific terminology, all data included etc)
  • Attending on-site and virtual client meetings.
  • Demonstrate appropriate knowledge and application of copyright permissions.
  • Working cross-functionally with internal team to ensure smooth delivery of work.
  • Understanding costings and how to allocate tasks to a budget.
  • Liaising with clients and any other 3rd
  • Applying agency specific processes and systems, from requesting, obtaining and saving references through to completion of resource tracker and timesheets on a weekly basis.
  • Attend training sessions to develop core skills and competencies as well as assisting with onboarding when required.

You

  • Must have a life science degree.
  • Must have medical writing experience within a medical communications agency within publications.
  • Must have excellent editorial/writing skills as well as being very organised.
  • Very good attention to detail and time management.
  • Must be a great team player.
  • A problem-solving mind and a ‘can do attitude’
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
