Health Systems Contract Development Lead, Pharma, Remote, £110k to £120k base + car + excellent benefits

We’re partnering with a global Pharma business on a newly-created, high-impact role: Health System Contract Development Lead. (NHS Partnerships Director).

Do You:

• Currently live in the UK with full eligibility to work?
• Have a strong legal background with good experience in writing complex contracts?
• Have experience of working with Pharma / Biotech with a focus on NHS partnerships?

If you have a strong legal background, sharp commercial instincts, and a track record of writing complex and watertight health system (NHS) partnerships contracts, I’d be keen to chat to you about this opportunity.

The ideal candidate is someone who’s worked in a similar role within pharma or biotech, possibly with earlier NHS experience under their belt, and most certainly with a robust legal background.

In this role, you'll be the key conduit between commercial teams (who scope partnership opportunities with the NHS), the internal legal experts, and the external client. You’ll turn bold partnership ideas into robust, executable contracts, structuring deliverables, KPIs, and risk frameworks that satisfy all sides. Translating strategic intent into legally-sound, outcomes-driven reality.

You’ll need to be as comfortable in a stakeholder meeting with NHS clients as you are dissecting contractual clauses with in-house legal counsel. It’s a role that requires collaboration, curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to challenge and guide internal teams to ensure contracts are not only compliant but commercially effective.

Remote position ideally UK based. This is a senior director level position.
