Business Development Specialist – Innovative Patient-Centric Solutions – Up to £55K Salary D.o.E + Bonus

The Role
As a Business Development Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the growth of this innovative patient-centric offering. From building new client relationships to strengthening existing ones, you’ll be at the forefront of business development and thought leadership. You’ll work closely with teams across the EMEA region, attending industry events and promoting the value of patient engagement.

  • New Account Development: Identify and target potential clients, particularly within CROs, to showcase the unique patient-focused solutions this organisation provides. Develop tailored strategies to meet client needs and secure new opportunities that translate into business growth.
  • Key Account Management: Strengthen and expand relationships with existing accounts. Create detailed account plans, monitor performance metrics, and implement strategies to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales volumes.
  • Marketing and Thought Leadership: Be the face of the organisation at key industry events and conferences. Create impactful marketing collateral, network with key stakeholders, and ensure the organisation’s solutions are presented in a compelling and professional manner.

You
To thrive in this role, you’ll need to bring a mix of sales expertise, marketing acumen, and interpersonal skills. You’ll be passionate about patient engagement and eager to build strong relationships with clients and industry leaders.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a commercial sales environment.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and managing high annual sales volumes.
  • Strong marketing and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex offerings clearly and concisely.
  • Experience in fast-paced environments, managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills, combined with a collaborative mindset and passion for patient-focused solutions.
