Business Development Manager – Healthcare Packaging Company – Thames Valley – £50k basic salary + extremely lucrative commission scheme
The Company
- My client is a nimble European Specialist Packaging Company that provides protective packaging across a number of different industries, including healthcare, diagnostics, pharma and devices.
- They provide innovative packaging solutions across the UK, North America, Asia and Europe.
- They have an impressive portfolio of products as well as a bespoke offering where they can work in partnership with companies to develop unique packing solutions to meet individual needs.
The Role
- Your role is to both bring on new business and grow and expand accounts to maximise potential.
- There is so much business to go at - currently 1,500+ companies on their CRM that they don't currently sell to that you can target. You will also develop your own contacts and leads.
- You will be promoting the portfolio of high-quality protective packing to various industries including healthcare, agriculture, automotive and diagnostics, offering extensive knowledge and support for your clients’ packaging issues.
- The role requires 3-4 days per week of office working in Thames Valley where you can learn from the experienced team and upskill quickly as well as sharing ideas and being a valued part of a close-knit team.
You
- They are looking for a great salesperson, someone keep to develop new opportunities and new leads, a real go getter!
- Full training will be provided for someone with ideally a scientific background plus 2+ years of sales experience.
- They need someone who has proven they can learn and absorb technical information - speak on a technical level and bring high energy!
- There is huge commission potential – an opportunity to over double your basic salary based on a percentage of sales you have generated.
- At least 2 years or sales or business development experience is required, they will not consider a new graduate.
