The Role
Associate Scientific Director to join the medical communications team based in Cheshire:
- Provide scientific project leadership and direction across multiple workstreams including a large publications account
- Therapy areas likely to include Haematology, Rare Diseases, Immunology and Oncology.
- Apply strategic thinking to build trusting and influential client relationships.
- Mentor, coach and review the work of medical writers to ensure accuracy and quality
- Produce clear and creative scientific products
You
Likely to be a Senior or Principal Medical Writer with scientific project leadership experience from a Medical Communications agency:
- Solid knowledge and understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, specifically medical affairs
- Experience developing/mentoring/coaching of junior colleagues and reviewing their work for quality and integrity
- Comfortable having strategic conversations with clients and generating organic account growth.
- Keen to build on your experience providing scientific direction to projects
