Associate Editor – Medical Education – Buckinghamshire– Competitive salary £31k - £35k and great benefits!
Independently owned medical education agency that has been established for over 20 years. They are looking to hire an Associate Editor to help lead on delivery of projects.

The Role
- The core of the role is compliance management and quality control of materials such as slides, speaker briefs, materials to promote meetings.
- Edit a range of scientific medical content including educational and promotional copy across a range of therapeutic areas and asset types (e.g. digital, print)
- Collaborate with the Medical Writers to ensure accuracy, clarity and reliability of materials
- Ensure accurate data referencing and checks are performed
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a new quality control process
You
- You’ll be educated to degree level (min BSc but ideally MSc) in a relevant subject area, e.g. pharmacology, medicine, biomedical sciences
- You will bring at least 1- 2 years’ experience of editing within a Medical Communications agency – Including editing promotional and medication education materials along with digital assets (i.e. not solely publications)
- You’ll have excellent attention to detail, editing and proofreading ability – able to enhance scientific integrity as well as flow, syntax, grammar and spelling
