The Role
This Associate Director position offers the opportunity to lead strategic healthcare research that genuinely drives change — across pharma, biotech, and health tech clients. You’ll be responsible for running projects end-to-end, growing accounts, and playing a pivotal role in mentoring the next generation of insight professionals.
- Lead and deliver end-to-end qualitative and mixed-method research projects with strategic impact
- Build deep, consultative relationships with clients and start to own a growing book of business
- Present high-impact debriefs that connect insights to big-picture thinking and decision-making
- Oversee day-to-day project execution, ensuring the team delivers to time, budget, and quality
- Contribute to new business efforts by writing proposals, developing ideas, and pitching work
- Act as a mentor, coach, and leader to junior team members — supporting their development and fostering a culture of learning
- Champion innovation — both in research methods and in how insight is communicated and actioned
You
We’re looking for a dynamic and driven insight professional who’s excited by the intersection of healthcare, research, and innovation. You’ll be confident leading client engagements, curious about the future of AI and technology in research and motivated to shape thinking — not just follow it.
- 6+ years’ experience in healthcare market research or a closely related field
- Proven track record of leading qualitative research projects (quant experience a plus)
- Skilled communicator and storyteller, comfortable owning the room in client presentations
- Excellent project management and time management skills — thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Line management or mentoring experience and a genuine interest in people development
- Comfortable writing screeners, guides, debriefs, and proposals independently
- An early adopter mindset — interested in how tech and AI can evolve research practices
- Collaborative, adaptable, and motivated by doing work that makes a difference
