Associate Director - Senior Patient Safety Physician

Location: Must be based in Germany or be willing to relocate to Germany. A comprehensive relocation allowance is provided.

The Company:

Due to their expanding pipeline and growth, we are looking for seven experienced Associate Director, Patient Safety Physicians to join one of our long-standing clients. These roles are crucial in supporting their clinical development and ensuring the safety and efficacy of their therapeutic products throughout their lifecycle.

The role:

• Oversee global clinical trials and projects with a strong focus on oncology, cardio-renal, inflammatory diseases, ophthalmology, and CNS.
• Collaborate closely with the global PV department, including teams in the US, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive pharmacovigilance strategies.
• Manage multiple clinical reports simultaneously, with occasional post-approval case studies.
• Contribute to strategic implementation processes, including stakeholder management (both internal and external), and the development and improvement of PV processes.
• Act as an individual contributor with potential career progression to team leadership roles.

You:

• A Medical degree (MD) is required; postgraduate qualifications are preferred.
• Extensive experience in the entire lifecycle of PV, from pre-clinical to post-approval case studies.
• Proven expertise in at least one of the following therapeutic areas: oncology, cardio-renal, inflammatory diseases, or CREA. Experience in multiple areas is highly preferred.
• A strong background in medical affairs is a plus.
• Must be residing in Germany or willing to relocate.
