Accuracy Checking Technician – Pharmaceutical Manufacturer – Fixed Term Contract (12 - 18 months TBC)

The Company

Carrot is partnering with a leading pharmaceutical company focused on the distribution of Pharmaceutical, Medical, Surgical and Homecare internationally. They are on the search for an Accuracy Checking Technician on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave, the role is fully onsite in Northampton.

The Role

• Perform the duties of an Accuracy Checking Technician under the supervision of the Responsible Pharmacist, ensuring adherence to current legislation and professional standards.
• Assist in managing the workflow of the Dispensary and Prescription Processing teams, focusing on Low and Mid Tech prescriptions.
• Provide guidance and training to Pharmacy team members as needed.
• Take responsibility for resolving Mid and Low-Tech prescription queries, maintaining professional communication with patients, customers, and colleagues.
• Help implement corrective and preventative actions to maintain patient safety and service quality.

You

• Qualified GPHC registered Pharmacy Technician with accuracy checking qualification.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Experience in multiple pharmacy settings.
• Understanding of Homecare Pharmacy (desirable).
