Account Manager – Medical Communications – London – 38 days AL – £40k+
We are currently supporting a forward-thinking medical communications agency on the search for an experienced and ambitious Account Manager to join their growing client services team.

The Role
As an Account Manager, you will act as the central coordinator of complex client projects. Working closely with senior management, internal teams, and clients, you'll ensure smooth project delivery from conception through to execution across a variety of medical education formats including digital, live, and hybrid events.
You’ll take ownership of timelines, budgets and stakeholder relationships, while mentoring junior team members and ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines. You will also be hands-on in the development and review of promotional materials and event content, contributing to both the creative and strategic direction of campaigns.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle
- Leading internal teams to deliver high-quality, on-brief content across multiple therapy areas
- Overseeing digital and live event logistics, including webinars, conferences and symposiums
- Managing budgets and tracking project profitability, ensuring timely delivery and resource allocation
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards, including ABPI Code of Practice and client SOPs
- Supporting organic business growth through client relationship development and identifying new opportunities

You
To be considered for this Account Manager opportunity, you will need:
- Previous experience working within a medical communications or healthcare education agency at SAE or AM level
- A strong understanding of project management and client service within a healthcare/pharma setting
- Experience in managing multiple high-value client projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused attitude and a high level of attention to detail
- Experience with compliance systems (such as Veeva) is desirable
- Event delivery (digital or live) experience is a plus
