Account Director – Independent Healthcare Advertising Agency – UK fully remote – Up to £57K plus competitive benefits

The Company

An opportunity to join this innovative independent agency working with leading brands in human and animal health.

  • You’ll be part of a well-established full-service agency with over 30 years’ industry experience who are constantly growing, adapting and evolving
  • You will be joining a supportive and engaging team who believe in collaboration, value individual ideas and enjoy taking a strategic partnership approach to produce stand out work for their clients
  • Focus in specialist areas such as nutrition, oncology, rare diseases, animal health and equine – working on brand strategy and campaign execution / delivery

The Role

  • You’ll lead on key and high value client projects / campaigns and strategy with well recognised life sciences and health and wellness brands
  • Working with the MD and Group Account Director you’ll drive company strategy through key account planning and development
  • Taking overall responsibility for the profit and growth achieved from key accounts as well as ensuring retention and optimised business
  • Responsibility for the pitch activity for both new and existing clients
  • Working closely with creative, digital and account management colleagues to ensure projects and campaigns stay on track and are delivered on budget and on time
  • You will support, develop and when needed manage more junior colleagues within the client services team

You

  • Will be educated to at least degree level in marketing or digital communications
  • Must have at least 5 years’ experience in a client servicing role with an advertising agency looking after life science, health and wellbeing or nutrition clients
  • Will be commercially astute, able to manage budgets, co-ordinate, prioritise and track project delivery and oversee client relationships
  • Have a good understanding of Digital / Omnichannel marketing evidenced through experience working on a range of deliverables including banner ads, web content, social media and digital apps
  • Can demonstrate ability to lead and grow large accounts
