Clare Davin works across all client services opportunities within Medical Communications, covering roles from Account Executives through to Senior Account Directors. We sat down with Clare to find out what she loves most about her job, any advice she'd offer to graduates looking to start their career within Med Comms client services and what the future looks like for the industry:
I started recruiting within Med Comms in January this year. Before that, I worked at Carrot recruiting for Marketing roles within Pharma companies and have over 9 years’ recruitment experience in total.
I love that we speak to new people every day and that most Account Executive candidates will keep in touch even after we place them. I also love working within my team here at Carrot Recruitment, we’re a very happy and supportive bunch.
For a job seeker looking for an Account Executive role, I would suggest getting in touch with myself, as I’ll be able to offer advice and support on what your possibilities might be. I’d also suggest being open and keen to explore a few options.
The future looks great for all Med Comms people, not just Account Executives. The industry is booming and the demand for candidates has never been higher. As well as a variety of roles and different therapy areas to pick from at present, clients are also keen to offer fantastic benefits, work/life balance and training and development to those looking to move into the industry.
The feedback that I receive from candidates is that they really like how I listen to what they are looking for and tailor their search to them and their priorities.
